OTR Lawn Trac Tires
The OTR Lawn Trac is an all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and garden tractors.
This model offers excellent performance on versatile terrain surfaces. The angled lug pattern can closely follow various surfaces with ease. This tread design is able to boost grip on soft, loose, and uneven surfaces. At the same time, this pattern keeps a consistent forward motion and does not allow the tire to lose its traction. On the other hand, the model keeps the footprint clean during the performance. The self-cleaning nature of the tread eliminates mud, snow, and rocks stuck between the tread elements, upgrading its overall driving safety.
The aggressive tread pattern and its close surface contact increase the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands. Additionally, the structure is secured against driving pressure throughout the drive. The optimal tread elements firmly grip the surface and upgrade the model’s cornering capability as well. As a result, this combination guarantees excellent controllability and maneuvering.
The OTR Lawn Trac also enhances driving durability. The reinforced internal structure and durable rubber compound maintain the ideal tire shape under driving pressure. This construction does not allow the tire to deform under pressure, which enables the tire to perform safely on different terrain surfaces.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire’s possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
