OTR Grassmaster Flat Profile Tires
The OTR Grassmaster Flat Profile is an all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and garden tractors.
The ideal tread design and the durable rubber compound improve the tire’s performance on all terrain surfaces. This wide footprint enables the tire’s perfect performance on grass and field surfaces. The special tread elements grip the surface for better forward motion. At the same time, the tire keeps close road contact, which upgrades the tire’s steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands. The structure is secured against driving pressure as well. Cornering and maneuvering are upgraded too. These elements guarantee a safe driving experience.
Longer-lasting tread life is provided with this tire. The optimized tread elements evenly distribute driving pressure along the tread area. On the other hand, the special silica compound slows the treadwear rate down. This tread design and the wear-resistant compound prevent irregular and premature wear formations along the tread area. As a result, the tire offers a longer service life.
The OTR Grassmaster Flat Profile ensures excellent year-round performance. The optimized tread elements and the all season compound upgrade the tire’s dry, wet, and winter-weather traction. In this manner, the ideal tread design manages to keep the surface contact at all times, while the all season compound maintains flexibility. These elements guarantee a safe driving experience throughout the year.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire’s possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
