Yokohama AVID S34RV Tires
The Yokohama AVID S34RV is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
This model ensures excellent driving comfort levels throughout the performance. The symmetric ribbed tread design’s close road contact and optimized pattern manage to lower the road vibration and noise levels. The tire’s close and constant surface contact absorbs the driving shock throughout the performance. In this manner, the tire minimizes the road vibrations felt by the vehicle’s passengers. The tread design’s optimal elements channel airwaves through the footprint, without allowing their contact with the tread blocks. This prevents sound wave formations and significantly lowers the road noise levels heard during the drive. This combination guarantees the passengers better driving enjoyment.
The symmetric ribbed tread design and the all season compound increase the all weather traction. The detailed siping and groove placement allows the tire to firmly grip the road surface at all times. In this manner, the tire is able to greatly enhance the number of biting edges gripping the road surface while the tires are in motion. The compound elements manage to keep the rubber flexible in different weather conditions, which results in a secure summer and winter weather performance. The wider groove placement avoids hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint in wet weather conditions. This ensures a secure year-round performance.
The Yokohama AVID S34RV also enhances controllability. The ribbed tread design ensures the tire’s surface contact while the tires are in motion, boosting the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In this manner, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder block pattern allows the tire to upgrade the cornering capability, by providing additional biting edges to grip the road surface at all times.
This tire model was manufactured as the original equipment tire of select Chrysler vehicles.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
